Ministry of Foreign Affairs concludes comprehensive replacement program

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the successful conclusion of the comprehensive replacement program for diplomatic, official and service passports both at home and abroad.

Minister of Foreign affairs Sara Beysolow Nyanti affirms the Ministry’s commitment to upholding the security and integrity of Liberian passports to prevent unauthorized access.

Please be advised that pursuant to Ministerial directives, any such passports not presented by the specified deadline are now invalidated.

The Minister underscores the critical role these documents play in national security and the personal safety of Liberian Citizens.

It can be recalled, the Government of Liberia through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs suspended the July 2023 Revised Passport Regulations and reinstated the March 2016 Passport Regulations. 
 
This Passport replacement initiative began on March 19, 2024 and was successfully completed on April 18, 2024.

Minister calls on all Liberian to continue their cooperation with the Ministry to enhance and preserve the international Standing of our Nation.
